Jeanerette– A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Zora L. Glorioso Boudoin, 85, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10:30AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter to serve as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 11:00AM until 8:00PM with the Recitation of the rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will continue Wednesday, from 8:00AM until the time of the service.
A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Boudoin passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at a Baton Rouge nursing facility. Mrs. Boudoin enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, fishing and cross stitching. In her younger day she enjoyed bowling with her friends in the local bowling league. She also loved to go to garage sales and watching wrestling on television. Ms. Zora was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and receiving pictures of them when they could not be with her.
She is survived by her children, Diane Glorioso of New Iberia, Mark Glorioso and wife Maria of Longwood, FL, Barbara Broussard and husband Robert “Robbie” of St. Amant, LA, Sandra Landry and husband Kirk of Jeanerette; grandchildren, Mary Louviere and fiancé Zaius Fremin of Parks, Elizabeth Louviere and fiancé Ebony Black of Belle Chasse, Slade Louviere Jr. of Mary Esther, FL, Gabrielle Louviere of New Iberia, Katherine Glorioso of Longwood, FL, Mark Nicholas Glorioso of Longwood, FL, Megan Burchak and husband Blake of Escondido, CA, Morgan Martinez and husband Jeremy of Prairieville, Sara Broussard and fiancé Shane Oakes of French Settlement, Emilie Sons and husband Robert of New Iberia, Raquel Landry and fiancé Eligah Tate of Lafayette; great grandchildren, Brittain Bourque Jr. of Parks, Bennett Burchak of Escondido, CA, Jay Robert Martinez of Prairieville, Scot Brasseaux Jr. of Jeanerette, Kelci Nash of Jeanerette, Emma Nash of Jeanerette, Courtney Sons of New Iberia, Londynn Tate of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Boudoin; 1 st Husband, Roy J. Glorioso; parents, Blaise and Marie Rogers Kramer; brothers, Blaise “Blackie” Kramer, Lawrence Kramer, William “Billy” Kramer; sister, Shirley K. Lalonde; infant son, Roy Glorioso Jr; paternal grandparents, Louis Kramer and Eve Morris Kramer; maternal grandparents, Joseph Rogers and Ida Bourque Rogers; son-in-law, Slade Louviere Sr.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Slade Louviere Jr., Zaius Fremin, Mark Nicholas Glorioso, Robert “Robbie” Broussard, Kirk Landry, Eligah Tate, Robert Sons and Scot Brasseaux. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Martinez and Shane Oakes.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge and Center Point Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Baton Rouge for the care and compassion given to Mrs. Boudoin.
