Warren "Eddie" Edward Stansbury, Jr.

Youngsville – A Memorial Service for Warren “Eddie” Edward Stansbury, Jr., will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11AM.

A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico and a resident of Youngsville, Mr. Stansbury died at 8:52PM on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Lafayette General Medical Center.  He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, then worked many years as a salesman.  Eddie was an avid fisherman who loved music and being with his friends and family.  He especially loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his two daughters, Samantha Stansbury and Austin Berard of Duson and Veronica Stansbury of Youngsville; two sisters, Theresa Ann S. Olson and Mary “Frankie” S. Castille; five grandchildren, Lucas Landry, Mya Stansbury, Lillian Berard, Ella Stansbury, and Avery Berard; and two nieces, Connie Olson and Aleena Picard Plaisance and her husband Wyatt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren E. Stansbury, Sr., and Hazel Griffin Stansbury.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Landry, Wyatt Plaisance and Austin Berard.
