ABBEVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial for Timmy Thanh Tran, 63, will be at 10:00AM on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at St. Mary Magdelen Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be in David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday and Friday, December 26 & 27, 2019 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 5:00PM and a mass at 6:00PM. The visitation will resume on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Timmy, born in Vietnam and a resident of Youngsville passed away Friday December 20, 2019 at Ochsner Medical Center of New Orleans. He was a hard working man who loved his family, especially his granddaughters. He was strong in his faith and was known as Mr. Fix it. He is survived by his wife, Ann Tuyet Bui of Youngsville, his children, Tran Anh Tuan and wife Tran Kim Hien of Youngsville, Tran Nhu Thuy of Dallas, TX, Tran Binh Toby and wife Nguyen Thi Linda of Baton Rouge, and Tran Minh Michael of Youngsville, his brothers, Tran Kha of New Orleans and Tran Phuoc of Oklahoma City, OK, his sisters, Tran Khuy, of New Orleans, Tran Nghi of New Orleans, and Tran Hai of Morgan City, his grandchildren, Leighton Tran, Lauren Tran, Haley Tran and Allison Tran.
