Thomas Landry

Abbeville- A Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Thomas Louis Landry Sr., 85, at 3:00PM on Saturday, December 4,2021 at David Funeral Home of Abbeville. A native of Andrew and a resident of Abbeville, Mr. Landry passed away at 2:36PM on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at The Vincent of Lafayette. Mr. Landry was a veteran of the United States Navy and he served in the Korean conflict. Mr. Landry was an avid billiard player and a member of the American Pool Association. He was also the only certified Billiard instructor in Louisiana. Mr. Landry owned and operated his own business, Landry’s Refrigeration, for over 40 years. He is survived by two sons; Kevin W. Landry and his wife Rhonda of Norwood, LA, and Thomas L. Landry, ll and his wife Wendie of Abbeville; three daughters; Andrea Herrington and her husband Philip of Kenner, LA, Trina L. Baudoin and her husband Timothy of Perry, and Courtney Landry of Erath; two self-adopted daughters; Nona Leger Istre, and Jeanne France Leger Davidson; the mother of his children and caregiver; Willie Primeaux of Abbeville; fifteen grandchildren; Brooke Grainier, Christopher Foret, Leah Hebert, Ruffin Herrington, Jennifer Landry, Michael Landry, Stacie Faciane, Kathryn (Katy)Clark, Morgan Clark, Drew Baudoin, Cassidy Landry, Hannah Langlinais, Tyler Garner, Mason Floyd, and Kyndall Theriot ; nine-teen great-grandchildren ; one great great-grandchild; and two sisters; Lillian Trahan and Louella Boutin. He is preceded in death by his long-time companion, Jean Thibodeaux; three brothers; Eldis Landry, Paul (Lurcey) Landry, and Dalton Landry; four sisters; Alice Monic, Elgine Simon, Yola Landry, and Lula Mae Landry.
