Sylvia Girouard, a devoted wife, and loving mother, passed away at the age of 84 on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She shared a remarkable 66-year marriage with the love of her life, Lavern "L.J." Girouard. Together, they cultivated a life filled with love and hard work on their family farm. Sylvia's dedication to their homestead extended to raising a diverse array of animals, including goats, cows, sheep, deer, and even buffalo. Their farm was not only a haven for animals but also boasted a thriving peach orchard, vibrant flower gardens, and bountiful vegetable plots.

Her culinary talents shone brightly during holidays, where she delighted in preparing delicious meals for her loved ones. In her moments of leisure, Sylvia found joy in sewing, showcasing her creative spirit. A devout Catholic, she actively participated in her faith by teaching religion and being a proud member of the Catholic Daughters.
