New Iberia ~ Funeral Services for Mrs. Suzanne Maria Provost Kelly will be held at 11:00AM, on November 30, 2024, at Holy Family Mausoleum in New Iberia.

Suzanne Maria Provost Kelly, known for her amazing pineapple upside down cake, was a Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Sister.

Suzanne is survived by her five children, Thurman “TJ” Joseph White, Jr. (Kelly), Ina White Byrd, Daniel White (Bobbie), Bernice White Frederick, and Nicole White Desormeaux; one sister, Kathleen Provost Swinney; one brother, Howard A. Provost; one sister-in-law, Joyce Provost; ten grandchildren, Michael Bodin, Brynn White (Jordan), Brian Kelly (Danae), Val Slaughter (Taylor), Jeremy Byrd, Desiree Melancon, Kayla Pellerin (Breadon), Megan Mendoza (Zach), Michael Byrd, and Kristen Slaughter (Leslie); eighteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Thurman J. White, Sr.; her second husband, Jimmie Dale Kelly; her parents, Adiole J. and Yvonne D. Provost; two brothers, Gayle Provost and Kyle Provost; one sister-in-law, Judy Provost; one brother-in-law, Leonard “Butch” Swinney; and one son-in-law, Quentin “Jude” Desormeaux.

The family of Ms. Suzanne Kelly would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Iberia Manor South and Traditions Hospice for their care and assistance during this difficult time.
