Stacey Bouzon Comyne

Lafayette – A Gathering of Family and Friends for Stacey Bouzon Comyne, 61, will be held from 10:00AM until 2:00PM on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at David Funeral Home in Lafayette.

A native of New Orleans and a resident of New Iberia, Stacey passed away at 10:38AM on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at her home. She was a wonderful caregiver for family and for the elderly. She enjoyed flea markets, furniture restoration, and cooking. She was known for making everyone around her feel special. Above all, she loved being a grandmother and she cherished all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her fiancé, James Timothy McKee of New Iberia; two daughters, Megan Minzey  of Youngsville and Devin Balfantz and her husband Drake of Lafayette; a son, Corey Minzey and his wife Lindsay of Youngsville; her father and step-mother, Christopher and Mickie Bouzon; four grandchildren, Rylee Minzey, Royce Ste. Marie, Mia-Jade Balfantz and Drake Balfantz, Jr.; a brother, Michael Bouzon and his wife Melissa; a niece, Ramsie Lawson; a nephew and godson, Brody Bouzon;  and a mother-in-law, Ina McKee.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth McNabb; and a brother, Perry Bouzon.
