Sharon Leblanc Petkovich

Jeanerette– A celebration of life will be conducted for Sharon Leblanc Petkovich, 67, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette.  Interment at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

A native of New Iberia and resident of Jeanerette, Sharon passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 6:39 AM at Franklin Foundation Hospital. She was an offshore operator for 18 years.  Her favorite pastime was spending time at the casino and playing cards with her sister, Lynn.  She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three sons, Trent Sonnier, Tadd Gonzales (Sarah), Chase Petkovich (Kami); seven grandchildren, Alijah Sonnier, Kaelum Sonnier, Kenzie Sonnier, Aiden Sonnier, Kaydence Gonzales, Sutton Gonzales, Kash Petkovich; her brother, Weakless Leblanc, Jr. (Catherine); two sisters, Tina Baudoin (Brent), Lynn Leblanc; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Weakless Leblanc, Sr. and Joyce Leblanc; her brother, Chad Leblanc; and her grandparents, Camille and Dema Leblanc.
