Sharon Buchanan

Lafayette- Graveside Services for Mrs. Sharon Buchanan, 72, will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 2:00PM with Reverend Chris Fuselier officiating.

A native of Lafayette, Mrs. Sharon passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, gardening, and reading. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Wesley Buchanan of Lafayette, and Aaron Buchanan of Lafayette; her daughter, Amanda Buchanan of Lafayette; her daughter-in-law, Briana White of Tennessee; her brothers, Glenn Allen Boudreaux of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jeff Boudreaux and his wife Polly of Jennings, Gary Boudreaux and his wife Karen of Tomball, Texas, and Ted Boudreaux and his wife Lucy of Youngsville; and her grandchildren, Naomi Jean-Baptiste, Kavin Mouton, Kaylie Mouton, Christian Buchanan, and Avery Buchanan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Buchanan; her parents, Wilbert Junius Boudreaux and Vera Lee McMillin Boudreaux.
