Lafayette- A Gathering of Family and Friends for Mr. Sean Anders, 45, will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at 2:00PM with Pastor Adam Whitney officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM. Visitation will resume on Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 10:00AM until time of services. A native of Lafayette and resident of Youngsville, Sean Anders, “Half Throttle”, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019. He had a passion for music that never died, and never will. He enjoyed collecting guitars as well as playing them. He loved the bands Vitrill and Slayer, and considered Slayer to be his all time favorite band to enjoy with his wife. One of his favorite passed times for many years was slamming rifts with his long time friends Scott Rue and Ryan Ragas. He also enjoyed going to Death Metal concerts with his children. He also had a love for In-And-Out burgers. He considered it a blessing to be able to share and pass down his passion for music to his children, wife, and family. He is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Kara Anders of Youngsville; his son, Blaine Kyle Mathew Anders of Youngsville; his daughters, Julia Paige Elizabeth Anders and Elise Gabrielle Anders both of Youngsville; his parents, Richard D. Dean Anders and Barbara Guinn both of Mississippi; and his Brothers in Christ, Ryan Ragas, Scott Rue, Jason McIntyre, and Billy Richard.
