Lafayette- Funeral Services for Mrs. Scarlet Romero, 66, will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 6:30PM with Brother Travis Officiating and Rosary on Sunday October 24, 2021 @ 3:00PM

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 9AM until 10PM. Visitation will resume on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 9AM until 4PM.

A native of Breaux Bridge and recent resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Scarlet passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was a loving grandmother, mother and wife that enjoyed cross word puzzles, cajun food, and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Dean Romero, Sr. who is a native of New Iberia and recent resident of Youngsville; her four sons, Casey (Monique “Nikki”) Romero of San Angelo TX, Larry Dean (Kristina) Romero, Jr. of San Angelo TX, Robert (Catie) Romero of Williston, ND; and David (Laurn) Romero of Youngsville; her two daughters, Bobbie (William) Nguyen of San Antonio TX, and Sandy (Kelley) Dauphine of Broussard; her brother, Leston “L.J.”Patin; her sisters, Darlene (Johnny) Lalanne, Rena Belaire, Rita Caraway, and Jessica (Paul) Hebert and her 23 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leston Patin and Irene Hebert Patin; her In-laws Olivier and Marina Ena Babin Romero; her grandchild Chase Romero; sister-in-law Pam Patin; and grandparents Joseph and Lielia LeBlanc Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Casey Romero, Larry Romero, Robert Romero, David Romero, Kelley Dauphine, William Nguyen and honorable pallbearers Leston “L.J.”Patin, Paul Hebert, and Johnny Lalanne.
