Ryan Joseph Parrish

Ryan J. Parrish passed away suddenly due to a cardiac event on March 12, 2023.  Born on Feb. 7, 1975, he was the son of Jacqueline Parrish and the late J. Ross Parrish II.  He was the loving husband of Melissa Chauvin Parrish for 21 years; father of Broch, Peyton, and Addison; brother of Ross and Stephen; soon-to-be grandfather of Kayce; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ryan’s love for his family was extraordinary. He doted on his wife and loved her deeply. He adored coaching his children and rooting for them in all of their endeavors.  Ryan also cherished his friendships, late night laughter with neighbors, and his Jesuit High school football years, where his teammates knew him as “Bubba.”  Ryan’s family would like to thank the faculty, staff, and families of Westminster Christian Academy and Jesuit High School Class of ‘93 for their support.

Father John Brown, S.J., will officiate the funeral mass and burial services for Ryan Parrish at St. Anne Catholic Church and Mausoleum on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 12:30 pm.  Visitation will also be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, beginning at 11:30 am on Friday, March 17, 2023.  St. Anne Catholic Church, 201 Church Street, Youngsville, LA  70592.
