Erath- Funeral Services for Mr. Russell J. Thibodeaux, 75, will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11:00AM with Father Manny Fernandez officiating. Interment will follow at Bancker Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday, December, 6, 2019 at 9:00AM until time of services.

A resident of Erath, Mr. Russell passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. He enjoyed going to the casinos and playing cards with his friends. He loved watching the Louisiana Saints play football.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Richard Thibodeaux of Erath; his daughter, Lezlie Thibodeaux of Erath; his step son, Chris Bertrand and his wife Carly of Texas; his grandchildren, C.J. Bertrand and Caroline Bertrand; and his brothers, Allen Thibodeaux and his wife Rosie, Darrell Toups and his wife Valerie, and Doyle Toups and his wife Sonya.

He is preceded in death by his parents Sheldon Thibodeaux and Lula Mae Toups.
