Robert Broussard

Lafayette- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Robert Broussard, 73, will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church on Monday July 18, 2022 at 2:30pm with Fr. Michael Russo officiating. Interment and Military Honors will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 9am until time of services with a recitation of the rosary at noon.

Mr. Robert passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Katherine Broussard; his daughter, Danielle Broussard and her companion Marty Mouton of Youngsville; his sons, Brandon Broussard and his wife Ashley of Lafayette and Bobby Broussard of Kaplan; his grandchildren, Colby Hanks, Hunter Broussard, Kendall Hanks, Ashlin Vandergriff, Kane Hanks, Tyler Broussard, and Kaleb Hanks; and his 7 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Burley Broussard and Leocadie Bourque Broussard.

Serving as pallbearers will be Colby Hanks, Kendall Hanks, Tyler Broussard, Brandon Broussard, Bobby Broussard, and Charles Grindley.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette 316 Youngsville HWY (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
