Richard Comeaux

Lafayette- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Richard Comeaux, 58, will be held at The Congregation of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church of 111 Pelican St, Lafayette, LA 70507 on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 12:00PM with Fr. Francis Miller officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum of Youngsville.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 9:00AM until time of services.

A resident of Youngsville, Mr. Richard passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023. He was known to be quite the prankster and an all-around outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding 4-wheelers, and sitting on his back porch. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Comeaux of Youngsville; his son, Richard Tyler Comeaux and his fiancé Abby Billeaudeau of Youngsville; his daughter, Brittany Comeaux Guillotte and her husband Devin of Youngsville; his grandchildren, Baylen Comeaux, River Comeaux, Kason Comeaux, and Ethan Guillotte; his brother, Troy Comeaux and his wife Melanie of Youngsville; his nephew Taylor Martin; his niece, Allison Comeaux; his uncles, Butch Carter and John Carter; and his aunts, Pam Beasley and Sarah Carter.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerome Comeaux and Donna Carter Comeaux; and his uncle, Don Carter.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Comeaux, Devin Guillotte, John Carter, Brian Venable, Irvin Guillotte, III, and Bart Bergeron.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Troy Comeaux and Butch Carter.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette 316 Youngsville HWY (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
