Revigne "Choo Choo" Joseph Guidry

Loreauville–A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Revigne "Choo Choo" Joseph Guidry, 83, on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11:30 AM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Bill Melancon officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, from 9:30 AM until the time of service with a Rosary at 11:00 AM.

A native and resident of Loreauville, Mr. Guidry passed away on Thursday March 14, 2024, at 10:56 AM at Iberia Medical Center. Mr. Revigne was a very simple man who lived a simple but meaningful life. He enjoyed going to ride in his truck to visit his family and friends.

He is survived by his nephews; Brett Courville (Rebecca), John Courville Jr. (Karen), and Rufus Courville (Dodie); nieces; Arleen Graffeo (Steven), Margaret Knott (Marius), and Rose Hebert (Ted); numerous great nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Anna Guidry; a sister; Nolia Guidry Courville; nephew, Julius “T-Poop” Chataignier, Jr.; niece; Anna Faye Broussard; two brothers-in-law; Julius Chataignier and John Courville, Sr.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Brett Courville, John Courville Jr., Rufus Courville, Brookes Richard, Shawn Arceneaux, and Chad Courville.

The family would like to thank his neighbors and friends for being so good to him. Also, the staff at Iberia Medical Center for the compassion and kindness they showed our uncle.
