Reid Michael Darby

New Iberia– A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Reid Michael Darby, infant son of Seth and LeAnn Darby on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 10:00AM at the David Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Andrew Killeen officiating.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM, and resume on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 8:00AM until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:30PM.

The Lord received Reid into his loving embrace on Friday, September 25, 2020. Reid made a lasting impression in our lives for just the short time that he was with us and we thank God for every minute of it. Our sweet beautiful boy turned one month old, and for his one-month birthday he grew his angel wings. Reid, we love you so much baby boy and will continue to do so. We want to thank everybody so much for the prayers and the support that was given to us. Reid, daddy and momma can’t wait to see you again. We love you so so much.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Elaine Fontenot, Donald Fontenot, John Perrodin, and Charles Leger.

The family would like to thank all of our family and friends. Reid had an army of people loving and praying for him and we will be forever thankful for it.

In order to help keep the community safe, we will honor the July 13, 2020, Louisiana Mandates.  All families and their guests are required to wear a face-covering while at the funeral home. Thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time.
