Peter Trung Nguyen

Abbeville- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Peter Nguyen, 35, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:00AM. Internment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 6:00PM until 10:00PM with a Mass at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 7:30AM until the time of services.

A native and resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, Mr. Nguyen passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 in Tijuana, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Pham Catherine Marie; his parents; Nguyen Nang Vuong and Cao Thi Thuy Lan; one brother; Nguyen Matthew and his wife Lam Tam; two sisters; Nguyen Joanne and her husband Tran Tu and Nguyen Kimberly; two nephews; Nguyen Aari and Souriya Elijah; five nieces; Tran Mila, Tran Madelyn, Tieu Kate, Tieu Taylor, and Souriya Emma; maternal grandparents; Cao Viet Thanh and Tran Thi Hoi; father and mother-in-law; Pham Van Tan and Tran Thi Hanh Nguyen; three sisters-in-law; Pham Maryann, Tieu Pham Melissa and her husband Khai, and Souriya Pham Nancy and her husband Arksone; and his wife's grandparent Tran Van Trong.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Nguyen Phu Tho and Nguyen Thi Hoi; and Pham Van Hoi, Nguyen Thi Linh, and Nguyen Thi Khuon.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tran Tu, Cao Michael, Cao Adrian, Cao Jimmy, Cao Luke, Tran Huy, Tran Anthony, Tran Tien, Le Tony, and Nguyen Brian,
