Paul Sterling Romero

Lafayette- A Celebration of the Life of Paul Romero, 76, will be held on November 29, 2019 at 6:00PM at at David Funeral Home of Lafayette.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 29, 2019 at 3:00PM until time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume until 9:00PM.

A native of Youngsville, Paul "T-Neg", passed away at 1:40PM on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Mr. Romero enjoyed fishing , hunting, gardening, listening to his radio, and dancing. He also enjoyed coaching baseball and caring for his animals. Above all, he loved cooking for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Broussard Romero; his son, Jason Romero and his wife Carol of Youngsville; his step son, Kevin Blanchard of Broussard; his daughters, Mary Knott and her husband David of Broussard, Sonia Baudoin and her husband Darin of Broussard; his brother Clifford "Brud" Romero; his sisters, Grace Bourque, Roberta Comeaux, and Gurley Landry. He is also survived by his ten grand children and eighteen great grand children.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ocie Adam Romero and Elina Fabre; his brother Elmo Romero; his sisters, Audrey Crochet, JoAnne Romero, and Gursey Romero.
