ABBEVILLE-Graveside Services for Paul Royal Mayard,89, were held at 11:00AM Friday, April 3, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Father Andre Metrejean officiated.

Visitation was at David Funeral Home of Abbeville Friday April 3, 2020 from 9:00AM until service time.

Paul, a native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Lafayette passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Romero Mayard of Lafayette, his daughter, Tamra Mayard Baudoin and husband Michael of Lafayette, a sister, Rita Hebert of Abbeville, 3 grandchildren, Reagan Patout and husband Jud of Youngsville, Brooke Stelly and husband Thomas of Lafayette, and Brittany Petre of Seattle, WA, 2 great grandchildren, Jude Patout and Ava Patout.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Mayard, his mother , Eunice Hebert, and his mother in law Louise Romero.
