Paul James "Jimmy" Constantin

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Paul James “Jim” Constantin, 77, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Fr. Casey Dugas officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date at Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 9:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM.

A native of Crowley and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Jim died at 10:41PM on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at his residence.  He was known for his enjoyment of cooking, gardening, playing golf, and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his companion of nine years, Brenda Carpenter of Lafayette; two sons, Brian Paul Constantin and his wife Jacque’ Leathem Constantin of Youngsville and Lance Michael Constantin and his wife Carol of Denton, TX; a daughter, Roxanne LeBlanc and her husband, Matthew P. LeBlanc of San Antonio, TX; and four grandchildren, Matthew B. LeBlanc, Remie LeBlanc, Teagan Constantin, and Sylas Constantin.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Lantz Constantin; his parents, Wilson and  Nola Abshire Constantin; and a brother, E.J. Constantin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian P. Constantin, Sylas Constantin, Michael Carpenter, Lance M. Constantin, Danny Short, and Joe Stemplewski.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
