Patsy Jean Bordelon

Lafayette- Funeral Services for Mrs. Patsy Jean Bordelon, 87, will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, November 2,2022 at 12:00PM with Brother Burt Langly officiating. Internment will follow in Cushman Cemetery in Marksville, LA.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from
10:30AM until the time of services.

A native of Vick, LA and a resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Patsy passed away on Saturday, October 29,2022. Mrs. Pasty was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist of Broussard for 42 years and loved to study her bible daily. Mrs. Patsy enjoyed quilting, painting, reading, and cooking Sunday dinners for her family. She was also a Faith
House volunteer.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Edison Bordelon. One son; Blaine Bordelon, and wife Denise, of Breaux Bridge; one daughter; Brenda Bordelon of Youngsville; seven grandchildren; Jessica Funderburk, and husband Jason, Katie Bordelon, Bradley Bordelon, Nicole Bordelon, Caiden Bordelon, Joshua Jones, and Lauren Jones; five great-grandchildren; Shelbie Funderburk, Cole Funderburk, Samantha Funderburk, Jackson Funderburk, and Samuel Hayes; two great great-grandchildren; Scarlett Funderburk and Nola-Mae Funderburk; and two brothers; Carl Bordelon and Leon Bordelon.

She was preceded in death by her parents Evis and Elsie Bordelon; and one brother; Marvin Bordelon.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Funderburk, Jackson Funderburk, Cole Funderburk, Bradley
Bordelon, Blaine Bordelon, and Mark Bordelon.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)-837-9887 is in charge of the
