ABBEVILLE-Funeral Services for Ouida H. Porter,87, will be at 2:00PM Friday October 1, 2021 in David Funeral Home of Abbeville. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.

Visitation will be in David Funeral Home of Abbeville Friday from 8:30AM until service time.

Ouida passed away in her residence Tuesday September 28, 2021.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne K. Porter and wife Susan of Erath, Tony Porter and wife Lori of Erath, Randal and wife Kathy of Abbeville, and a sister, Helen H. Lemaire of Forked Island, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Collins Porter, parents, Eraste Sr. and Josephine Campbell Hebert, brothers, Eraste Hebert Jr., Isaac Hebert and Donald Hebert.

Serving as her Pallbearers will be Wayne Porter, Tony Porter, Randal Porter, Corey Porter, Brian Hebert, and Don Lemaire.

To help the community stay safe we will honor the August 1, 2021 Louisiana Mandates.  All families and their guests are required to wear a face-covering while at the funeral home and church. Thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time.
