Norma Jo Hattaway Semar

New Iberia – Private graveside services will be held at a later date for Mrs. Norma Jo Hattaway Semar at Holy Family Cemetery of New Iberia.

Norma passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Field Memorial Community Hospital in Centreville, MS. She was 76 at the time of her passing.

Norma was born in Alexandria, LA, and a resident of New Iberia for 62 years. She was a graduate of New Iberia High School, Class of 1961. Some of her hobbies included cooking, sewing, reading and following motocross. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was survived by her daughter, Vicki Lynn Semar of Katy, TX; her son, Allen M. (Alley) Semar, Jr.  of  Centreville, MS; her sister, Debra H. Repaske and husband Bill of New Iberia and her nieces Cameron S. Williams and Lauren S. Pommier both of New Iberia, LA.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen M. (Tedo) Semar, Sr., her parents, Vera Reeve Hattaway and James B. Hattaway, Sr. and her brother James B. Hattaway Jr.
