Erath – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Misty Kaye Poirrier, 43, a beloved soul whose adventurous spirit and loud, joyful presence will forever be cherished by all who knew her. Misty lived a life full of excitement, always seeking new experiences and thrills. Whether she was exploring haunted houses, navigating waters in a canoe, or taking in the beauty of new places, Misty embraced every moment with an open heart and an infectious enthusiasm. She had an undeniable love for travel and sightseeing, always eager to explore the world and share her adventures with those she cared about. Above all, Misty had an unbreakable bond with her beloved dog, Harlee, who was always by her side, sharing in the joy of life’s adventures. Misty's laughter, her larger-than-life personality, and her passion for living fully will be deeply missed. Though she may no longer be with us, her adventurous spirit and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her friends, family, and loved ones. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. She is survived by a daughter, Britlyn Bordelon; a son, Gavin Bordelon; a fiancé, Tommy Vincent; a father, James Poirrier and his wife Tina; a mother, Annette Poirrier and her fiancé Jim Mauritzen; two brothers, Shawn Poirrier and Brannon Poirrier and his wife Sarah; four nieces, Madison Poirrier, Bella Poirrier, Lexi Poirrier, and Addison Poirrier; a nephew, Hunter Poirrier; maternal grandmother, Earline Vaughan; paternal grandfather, Willie Poirrier; and a host of aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Wilbert Vaughan; and a paternal grandmother, Laura Mae Poirrier.
