Milton Joseph Arceneaux of Youngsville passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on May 15, 2021. He was ninety-three years old. Milton was a devoted family man who enjoyed traveling and was involved with many organizations within the community. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion Post 279 of Erath. He was an incredibly hard worker and set a wonderful example for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He retired from Texas Gas after over 30 years. His love of farming, in his later years, led to the founding of the Arceneaux Dairy Farm. Milton and his wife Janie also spent countless hours in support of their special needs daughter, Renee. Together they would frequently coordinate fundraisers for both the New Hope Center and Southwest State School. Milton has incredibly impacted the lives of his family, friends and all of those around him. In doing so, he has passed on a legacy of hard work, determination, commitment and the love and importance of family.
