Michael Comeaux

Lafayette- Funeral Services for Mr. Michael Comeaux, 38, will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 4PM with Fr. William Schambough officiating. Interment will follow at St. Ann’s Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 9AM, with a recitation of the rosary at 12PM and burial at 4PM.

A resident of Youngsville, Mr. Michael passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. He was a loving Son, Brother, and Uncle. Michael loved to fish and hunt, spending time with family, especially picking on his nieces and nephews. He was an electrician working in the family business along with his Father, Sisters, Uncle, and a host of friends. Michael had a big heart and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his father, Jamie Comeaux; his sisters, Danielle (Jason) Guidry, Lauria (Ryan) Atkins, Jami Lea Comeaux, Dymphna (Leonard) Boudreaux, Johanna Comeaux and her fiancé Ethan West; his nieces and nephews, Tayler, Jason, Joseph, Trevon, Jackson, Bailey, Jonathan, Savanna, and Sage; his maternal grandmother Joann Jeanise, his godchildren, Johanna, Jonathan, Ely, and Joseph; and a host of Aunts and Uncles.

He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Lisa Stelly Comeaux; his paternal grandparents, Roy and Joyce Comeaux; his maternal grandfather, Herman Stelly; and his godmother, Tammy Menard.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Guidry, Ryan Atkins, Leonard Boudreaux, Ethan West, Justin Vaughan, and John Stelly, Jr.
