Michael D. Boutin

Lafayette – A celebration of life will be held on Thursday September 2, 2021, at 6:00 pm at David Funeral Home for Michael D. Boutin, age 64.

Visitation will be held on Thursday Sept. 2, 2021, from 10:30 AM until time of services.

Michael was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Youngsville. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Michael was an auto mechanic by trade who loved race cars and attending car shows in his 1988 S/S Monte Carlo. He enjoyed attending Cruisin the Coast in Mississippi.

Survivors include his wife Catherine Jones Boutin, his children Dawn Radano and her husband Michael, Scott Boutin and his fiancé Tanya Billodeau, and Brandon and his wife Trissy Boutin, his grandchildren Devin Boutin, Braedon Boutin, Aubrey Radano, and Kiara Billodeau, and great grandchildren, Sophia Sonnier, Addelyn Sonnier, and Kai DeRouen. Michael was also survived by his siblings and their spouses Alton Boutin Jr., Calvin Boutin, Larry Boutin, Donald Boutin, Daniel Boutin, Norma Faye Trim, and Darlene Delahoussaye, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Alton Boutin Sr., Mary Hilda Mayers Boutin, his brothers Edward Boutin and Carroll Boutin.

The Boutin family has requested that all visitors abide by the Governor’s Mandate, mask must be worn in the funeral home.
