Michael "Mike" Jules Blondiau, 51, passed Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 10:50am, after a long and courageous battle with numerous health conditions. A Memorial Service and Celebration of his life will be held in New Orleans at a later date.
A resident of Lafayette and a native of New Orleans, Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and music. He was a Holy Cross Man, a TKE and an original member of the Southern Sportsman Social Club, which he was very proud of. But was most known for being a family man and a DIE HARD SAINTS FAN!!!
He cherished his family and friends and was always willing to impart wisdom and give support. He was funny and always the life of the party. He believed in the power of music and that it fed his soul. He was a unique and unforgettable person, who lived hard, loved hard and played hard. He will forever be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Tanya Parker Blondiau; his daughters, Samantha and Hallie Blondiau; his father, Alfred Blondiau; his brother, Matthew Blondiau;
sister-n-law, Paige Blondiau and niece Ava Granger.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Cooper Blondiau.
St. Martha Church in Woodland West/Harvey will be the future location of Michael's Memorial Service and Celebration.
