Maurice- Memorial Services for Melanie Louise Hebert, 56, will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, March 7, 2022, at David Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Neel officiating.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, March 7,2022 from 9:00AM until the time of the services.

A native of Youngsville and a resident of Maurice, Ms. Hebert passed away on Thursday, March 3,2022. Ms. Melanie was employed by Lafayette Public School Board in child nutrition. She loved her job, her work family, and her beloved animals. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her granddaughter.

She is survived by her partner of 25 years, Gordan “Chris” Guilbeaux. One son; Keith Jude Landry, and his wife Jillian Claire Dickerson, of Youngsville; one grandchild; Everly Lynn Landry; her parents; Roland Hebert and Ella Mae Hebert; four sisters and their spouses; Yvonne Broussard, Marlene Comeaux, Denette Hebert, and Anita Comeaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.
