Marilyn K. Broussard

New Iberia– A graveside service will be conducted for Marilyn K. Broussard, age 63, at a later date.

A native and a lifelong resident of New Iberia, Marilyn K. Broussard passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 2:10 a.m. at Belle Teche Nursing Home.

She loved playing music at all the churches in the area for whatever occasion. She would also sing and teach music to those who showed an interest. She was a substitute teacher, and also worked the election polls for many years.

She was extremely grateful and very thankful for having been reunited with her son.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Donald J. Broussard; a son, Christopher; siblings, Frank B. Kidd, Jr (Patricia) of New Iberia, Sue Ellen Myers (Allan) of Opelousas; a best friend, Dena Beyt (Bob) of New Iberia, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank B. Sr and Suanne Westmoreland Kidd.

The family would like to thank Zack David and the rest of the staff of Community Hospice for the kindness, and support she showed to Marilyn.
