Marie Henrietta Lewis Abbeville- Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Henrietta Lewis, 101, who passed at 2:15 A.M. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Kaplan Health Care. A resident of Kaplan, Henrietta raised eight children and they lived on a country road in Vermillion Parish, where she had been known to make a batch or two of homemade beer. She enjoyed crocheting and listening to classic country music. On Sundays, you could find her in front of the television cheering on the New Orleans Saints. She is survived by three sons; William “Timmy” Harrington, George Harrington, and David Harrington; three daughters; Marietta Harrington, Judith Bourque, and Katherine Harrington; fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grand children and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 39 years, Noah P. Harrington, Sr. Her second husband, Eldre’ J. Justilian, Jr. Her parents Peter Madison Lewis and Idea Broussard Lewis. a son; Noah P. Harrington, Jr.; a daughter; Alice Faye Miller; a brother; Royce Lewis; and a half-brother; Reese Lewis.
