A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie Trahan “Janel” Comeaux, 82, will be held Friday July 7, 2023 at 11:30 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, with Father Michael Russo Pastor of St. Anne officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 6:00 PM and will continue from Friday July 7, 2023 from 8:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery

Janel as she was known by all her friends was a native of Youngsville and a resident there for 52 years, friend who knew her remember her spending long days and numerous road trip to watch her two boys play baseball, she was a true baseball, Mom. Later in life her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and she and her loving husband cooking large holiday meal for them.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years Wayne Comeaux; her two sons Chad and his wife Tammy Comeaux and Chuck and his wife Lisa Comeaux; and her two grandchildren Bethany and Brent Comeaux.

Janel was preceded in death by her parents John and Bernice Trahan.
