Margaret Guidry Vincent

Lafayette – A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret Guidry Vincent, 86, will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 06, 2024 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Russo officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, January 05, 2024 beginning at 4:00PM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, January 06, 2024 at 8:00AM until the time of Service.

Margaret Guidry Vincent, born in Cecilia, La, on October 31, 1937, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. Margaret was a devout Catholic, mother and wife who will be remembered for her spiritual strength and unrelenting love of family. Margaret’s legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ronald Vincent; her five children, Julie Vincent Eberhardt (Dennis) of Brevard, NC, Sue Vincent Landry (Kevin) of Lafayette, Paula Vincent Adams (Jim) of Mandeville, Ronda Vincent Spangler (Russ) of Youngsville and Ron P. Vincent (Delia) of Kingwood, TX; a brother, Tommy Guidry; a sister, Genevieve Guidry Ancelet; her grandchildren, April Bailey (Chris), Alex and AJ Eberhardt, Morgan and Avrie White, EJ Spangler and Sara and Ryan Vincent; and a great-granddaughter, Eleanor Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jules Guidry and Marie Thevenet Guidry; three brothers, Alvin, Andrew and Gerald Guidry; and a granddaughter, Tori Richard.
