Margaret F. Derouen

New Iberia– A Private service will be conducted for Margaret Fabre Derouen age 84, who passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 5:15 a.m. peacefully at her residence with her family by her side.

Margaret spent her life caring for her family and her home, and she was fiercely dedicated to those she loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Derouen of New Iberia; her special niece she raised from birth, Dusti Alfano of New Iberia; nieces, Star and Layla Robertson; nephew, Layth; and one sister, Barbara Fabre Lopez.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Gayle Derouen; her parents, Edwin and Effie Fremin Fabre, and one sister, Helen Fabre Vitter.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Acadiana for the love and support they shared.
