Lynn Edward Foco

Jeanerette– Memorial Services will be conducted for Lynn Edward Foco, 73, on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 12:00PM at David Funeral Chapel of Jeanerette with Father Francis Damoah officiating.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 10:00AM until the time of services.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Foco passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 3:20PM surrounded by his loving family. Lynn was a proud graduate of Jeanerette High School, where he fondly recalled his youthful days. He was an avid LSU football fan and cherished his time outdoors, whether tending his garden, caring for his chickens, or hunting deer and rabbits in his younger years. In his later years, Lynn found joy in spending time with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories.

He is survived by his children; Phillip Foco and his wife Megan of Baton Rouge, Jeffrey Foco and wife Ashly of New Iberia, and Kenny Foco and his wife Amy of Youngsville; four grandchildren; Ellie Foco, Anna Foco, Emmett Foco, and Wyatt Foco; siblings; Annette Hebert and husband CJ and Steve Foco and wife Cheryl; Brother-in-law; Courtney Frioux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Myra Foco; his parents; Fritz Edward Foco and Elaine Foco; and a sister; Cristie (Kitty) Frioux.

Honorary Pallbearers are Rodney Foco, Rodney Schexnider, Rusty Hebert, Coy Fitch, Jude Richard, and Joe Prejean.

The family would like to thank his neighbors and friends, Sylvia and Chasity. His caregivers Jadda Lewis, Shirley Thomas, Annie McFarlin, Becky Etienne, and Twana Clay. The family would also like to thank the staff of Hospice of Acadiana for their care of Mr. Foco.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Lynn’s honor to St, Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
