Lumina Comeaux

Loreauville – The family of Lumina Louviere Comeaux would like to announce her passing on Monday, January 20, 2025, at her residence.

Lumina found joy in cooking and also baking delicious pies. Her family cherishes the memories of making refreshing coke slushies together. A woman of simplicity, she adored her family and would light up with a little boogie dance whenever they would arrive. She also had a passion for word puzzles, which brought her delight.

She is survived by two sons, Cordell Comeaux and his wife Angelle, and Lelon Comeaux and his wife Heidi; five grandchildren, Angelique Barras, John Comeaux, Kain Comeaux, Brianna Barras, and Lindsey Sandoz; and one great-grandchild, Stevie Sandoz.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eastin Comeaux; her parents, Luke and Vernice Rebert Louviere; a daughter, Tonya Comeaux; a grandchild, Laura Comeaux; and two brothers, Hayden Louviere and Melvin Louviere.
