Homegoing services for Mrs. Louise Hoffpauir will be conducted at the Mt. Triumph Baptist Church at 310 S. Lamar , Abbeville, Louisiana on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Willie Williams officiating. Viewing is schedule from 8:00 until the time of service. Interment will be at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church Cemetery on Prairie Street.
Mrs. Louise Mae Hoffpauir answered the call from her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Abbeville General Hospital. Mrs. Hoffpauir was born in Abbeville, Louisiana to Mr. Issac Matthews and Mrs. Gertrude Augustus. Mrs. Louise was reared in Abbeville. She was employed at Abbeville General Hospital for 25 years. She loved cooking, gardening, dancing, and spending time with her family. She received Christ as her Savior at an early age. She was baptized and joined with Mt. Triumph Baptist Church and remained a member for many years.
Mrs. Louise leaves to cherish many fond memories to her 5 children; Michael Hoffpauir and his significant other, Elaine Vallot of Lafayette, LA, Alvin Hoffpauir Jr. (Trisha) Abbeville, Barbara George (Daniel) of Erath, Kenneth Ray Hoffpauir of Abbeville, and Adriana Hoffpauir and her significant other (Jacque Pillette) of Abbeville, LA; 12 grandchildren, Michael Hoffpauir Jr. of Georgia, Sebastian Hoffpauir of Lafayette, LA, Jamall Hoffpauir, Alvin Hoffpauir IV, Antonio Perkins, Anette Herrera all of California, Danielle George of Erath, Dameon Levine, Jonathan Levine, Joi Robinson, Carla Sinegal, Alonzo and Megan Morris of Texas; great grandchildren; one sister, Jennie Dawson, one brother, Harold Collins; one brother in law, Elbert Dawson Sr; two sisters in law, Diane Hoffpauir and Elaine Collins both of Abbeville. She also leaves memories to a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Allen Paul Hoffpauir, one daughter, Sandra Dee Hoffpauir; husband, Alvin Hoffpauir Jr; 4 brothers, Carl, Rubin, and Chester Collins and Steve Matthews; 2 sisters, Rose Henderson and Martha Mae Williams; one daughter in law, Melba Hoffpauir; 2 sisters in law, Marjorie Hoffpauir and Marcy Collins; and 1 brother-in-law, Albert Hoffpauir.
