Lou Ella Vincent Racca

Lafayette – Funeral services for Lou Ella Vincent Racca, 87, will be held Monday July 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM in David Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Meyers officiating.

Visitation will be held Sunday July 18, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and will resume Monday from 8:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Youngsville.

A native of Abbeville and a resident of Maurice Lou Ella was a loving wife, mother and great grandmother and friend to all, she passed away Friday July 16, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Survivors include her two sons Carroll and his wife Terrill Racca of Henderson Texas, and Maurice Racca Jr. of Youngsville; two daughters Emma Jane Racca of Youngsville, and Barbara and her husband John Trahan of Maurice; her grandchildren Shantel “Beau” Broussard, Kasie Tullos, Heather “Jacob” Simon, Amanda Simon, Shala “Bennett” Guilbeau, Danielle” Clyde” Covalt, Tanya “Jason” Glenn, Rachel “Chris” Lockridge, Desiree “Matt” Costlow, and Cory “Courtney” Racca. She is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren, and four great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Joyce Meyers.

Lou Ella was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Racca Sr.; her parents Jean and Amanda Duhon Vincent; and three sisters Pearl Vincent, Betty and her husband Ignace Broussard, and Rose Duhon.

Serving as pallbearers will be Beau Broussard, Dylan Simon, Cory Racca, Chris Lockridge, Clyde Covalt, and John Trahan; honorary pallbearers will be Brock Simon, Matt Costlow, Coby Covalt, and C.J. Covalt.
