Lorita Comeaux

Lafayette – Funeral services for Lorita Jane Comeaux, 91, will be held Monday October 23, 2023 at 11:30 AM n Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard with Father Casey Dugas officiating.

Visitation will be held Sunday October 22, 2023 from 2:00PM until 7:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 5:00 PM and will continue Monday from 9:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.

Lorita was a native of Jeff Davis Parish and a resident of Lafayette, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. Lorita passed away Thursday October 19, 2023 at Camelot of Broussard.

Survivors include her children Stephen and his wife Jean Comeaux, Michael Comeaux, and Michele and her husband Hugh Brashier; her grandchildren Jared Trahan, Ashley Trahan, Evan Comeaux, Alana Trahan, and Elise Comeaux; great grandchildren Madyson McBroom, Presli Fitch, Axl Roch, and Sully Rose Roch; she is also survived by her sister Anita Godbout.

Lorita was preceded in death by her husband Albert Comeaux; parents Pete and Lucy Bergeaux Klumpp; sister Dorothy Stackhouse; and her brother Hillary Klumpp.

David Funeral Home 316 Youngsville Hwy is in charge of arrangements.
