Lorena Hebert Verret

Jeanerette– Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Lorena Hebert Verret, 99, on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11:00AM at David Funeral Home of Jeanerette with Fr. Keith Landry officiating. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 8:30AM until the time of the service.

A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Verret passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Maison Teche Nursing Home. Lorena lived a full life and is now with her family in heaven.

She is survived by her son, Dean J. Verret of Jeanerette; sister, Celie Moss of Broussard; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Verret Sr.; children, Sally V. Edley of New Iberia, Phyllis V. Mestayer of Jeanerette, William J. Verret Jr. of New Iberia; parents, Howard Joseph Hebert Sr. and Aline Hebert; brother, Howard Hebert Jr.; sisters, Lilly Van Brocklin, and Cecile Charpentier.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Skylar Verret, Darron Dooley, William “Cody” Verret III, Reggie Dupre, Daniel “Danny” Mestayer and Cody Trahan.
