Lafayette- Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Alleman Champagne, 72, will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 1PM with Fr. Louis Richard officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 9AM until time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 10AM. A resident of Broussard, Mrs. Linda passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. She was a hardworking wife, mother and grandmother. She especially enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, friends, and her many pets including her beloved dogs, JuJu and Joopey. She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Patrick Champagne; her daughter, Dana Colgin and her husband Clay of Youngsville; her sons, Daniel Champagne and his wife Allison of Lafayette, and Dax Champagne of Broussard; her grandchildren, Taylor Bertrand, Stefan Colgin, Cy Colgin, Blake Champagne, Kate Champagne, and Collin Champagne. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis Alleman and Anna Domingue; and her sister, Brenda Albert. Serving as pallbearers will be Blake Champagne, Daniel Champagne, Clay Colgin, Cy Colgin, Dax Champagne and Stefan Colgin. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be David Bertrand, Collin Champagne and Patrick Champagne. To help keep the community safe we will honor the August 01, 2021, Louisiana Mandates, all families and their guests are required to wear a face covering while at the funeral home and church.
