Leonce Abdon Gaudin, Jr.

New Iberia– An Inurnment will be conducted for Leonce “Lee” A. Gaudin, 91, at a later date in Broussard Cemetery.

A native of Killona, LA and resident of Iberia Parish, Lee Gaudin passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 7:12 PM at his residence. Mr. Leonce was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle. He was a very hard worker and always provided for his family. He worked his entire life in the oilfield. He had a love of barbequing on the weekends with his family, also love going to the casino, baking brownies and cakes.

He is survived by his children; Mark, Kit, Evia, Willie, Kenneth, Stephen, Annette, Roseann; stepchildren; Olan Bourque, Paulman Bourque, Rickey Bourque and Tony Bourque; A Brother; Hubert Gaudin; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great
grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Domingue Gaudin; one son; Leo Gaudin; his mother; Annette Duhe’ Romero; his father; Leonce A. Gaudin Sr.; three sisters; Earline Etie, Rita Miguez,
Annabelle G. Fiedler; and brother; Clifton Gaudin.

The family would like to thank the staff of Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia and Heart of Hospice in Lafayette for the care of their father.
