Lawless "Jude" Gerard

Lafayette- Funeral Services for Mr. Lawless “Jude” Gerard, 54, will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 1:00PM with Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anne Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 11:00AM until time of services.

A resident of Youngsville, Mr. Jude passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023. He enjoyed being outside in his garden, farming his sugarcane, and tending to his peacocks, chickens, cows, goats, pigs, horses, and especially his beloved buffalo. At a certain time, he had a lama and a yak. Above all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Ashely Gerard of Lafayette, and Hayley Gerard of Youngsville; his mother, Mary Gerard of Youngsville; his brothers, Nu Gerard, Richard Gerard, Andy Gerard, and Chad Gerard; his sister, Angela Box; and his step-son, Scotty Thibodeaux.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lawless Gerard; and his son, Cody Gerard.
