Larry "Paw Paw Larry" J. Touchet, Sr.

Lafayette–A Rosary services will be conducted for Larry J. Touchet, Sr. age 73, Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Frioux-David Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time of rosary service at 12:00 p.m.

Larry "Paw Paw Larry" Touchet, a beloved family man, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He held his family close to his heart, with a special place reserved for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and pride. Known for his warm smile and kind spirit, Larry found peace and happiness in the great outdoors—whether he was casting a line, setting up camp, or simply enjoying nature's beauty. His gentle presence and deep love for his family will be remembered always.

“Paw Paw Larry” is survived by his wife Mary Brunton Touchet; children, Cathy Clause (Chuck), Deborah T. Mackey; Larry Touchet, Jr. (Elizabeth), Lisa Istre (Kevin); grandchildren, Dustin, Lauren, Dylan P., Hayden, Emily, Alivia, Spencer, Lillie, Bryleigh, Faylee, Dylan, Hannah, Alana, Tori; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Debbie Baker (Brian), and Barbara Rogers (Raymond).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore, and Aline Gonzales Touchet; siblings, Randy Touchet, and Jimmy Touchet.
