La T Dang

September 25, 1937 — May 30, 2021

Abbeville – Funeral services for La Thi Dang, 83, will be held Saturday June 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, with Father James Nguyen officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday June 2, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 6:00 PM, Thursday June 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 6:00 PM, and Friday June 4, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Mass at 6:00 PM “Le Phat Tang”, and Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.

A native of Bui Chu North Vietnam, and a resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Dang passed away Sunday May 30, 2021 at the Maison Du Monde Living Center.

Survivors include her children Dat Kim and wife Nhung Do, Trong Kim and his wife Tam Nguyen, Vui Le and her husband Thinh Le, Hung Kim, Manh Kim, Mung Bernardo and her husband Chuck Bernardo, Phuc Kim and his wife Linda Tran, and daughter in law Ngoc Nguyen; nineteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tuyen Van Kim; her parents Toan Van Dang and Toan Thi Nguyen; son Khoat Kim, and daughter Tuoi Kim.

Serving as pallbearers will be Manh Kim, Phuc Kim, Linh Kim, Tony Kim, Brandon Kim, and Elliot Bernardo.
