Kenneth James Clostio

Abbeville- Funeral service will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at New Life Church for Kenneth J. Clostio, 69, with Pastor Lane Paine officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday October 7, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM at David Funeral Home and will continue Friday October 8, 2021 from 8:00 AM time of services New Life Church . Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.

Kenneth was a native and lifelong resident of Abbeville, he passed away Saturday October 2, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake hospital in Baton Rouge.

Survivors include his wife Brenda Benoit Clostio; his children Becky Meaux, Keith and his wife Tonya Gisclair, Stanley and his wife Amy Smith, Missy and her husband Jarret Hebert, Ida Clostio, Kenneth Clostio Jr., Josh and his wife Kasey Clostio, Cody and his wife Shelby Clostio, and Brittany and her husband Derrick Menard; twenty seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Otto and Ida Mae Leger Clostio; brothers Alex, Peter, and Raymond Clostio; sister Barbara C. Simon; and son-in-law Billy Meaux.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jadon Smith, B.J. Meaux, Landon Dupy, Dustin Theall, Brett Meaux, and Alex Clostio. Honorary pallbearers will be Percy Meaux Jr., Michael Meaux, Kade Hebert, Kale Hebert, Jax Smith, Lane Clostio, Josh Clostio Jr., Logan Clostio, Hunter Benoit, and Tyler Romero.

To help the community stay safe we will honor the August 1, 2021 Louisiana Mandates.  All families and their guests are required to wear a face-covering while at the funeral home and church. Thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time.
