Joyce Ann Fontenot

Lafayette – Funeral Services for Mrs. Joyce Ann Ledet Fontenot, 77, will be held at 12:00PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at David Funeral Home with Deacon Tim Marcantel officiating.

Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at David Funeral Home from 8:30AM until the time of service.

Mrs. Fontenot, a native of Larose and a resident of Broussard, enjoyed cooking, baking and antique shopping. She also enjoyed her work as a tax preparer for H&R Block. She was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Alter Society. She loved being surrounded by her grandchildren.

Mrs. Fontenot is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mr. Larry Fontenot, her son, Joseph Fontenot and his wife Stephanie; and her five grandchildren, Chad Duet and his wife Shammy, Allison Aston and her husband Alex, Matthew Fontenot and his wife Harmony, Brayden Fontenot and Michael Berg.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Alice Ledet; and her two daughters, Kim Ann Duet and Dawn Fontenot.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Duet, Matthew Fontenot, Alex Aston, Brayden Fontenot and Michael Berg.
