Erath – Funeral Services for Joseph B. Thibodeaux, 53, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at David Funeral Chapel of Erath with Deacon Glynn Stutes officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 beginning at 9:00AM until the time of the services.

A native of Morgan City and a resident of Erath, Mr. Thibodeaux died at 10:50AM on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at his residence.  Joseph loved life and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed playing cards and was known as “DJ Crazy Legs”.

He is survived by a son, Tyler J. Thibodeaux, and Tiffany Touchet of St. Martinville; a daughter, Paige Thibodeaux and Michael Lewis, Sr. of Erath; a brother, Troy Thibodeaux; two sisters, Theresa Chauvin and Chrissy Chauvin; five grandchildren, Miley Boone, Jaxson Davis, Jason Thibodeaux, Michael Lewis, Jr., and Jensen Thibodeaux; and a god child, Almyriah Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Thibodeaux and Judy Ann Chauvin; two brother, Shane M. Thibodeaux and Gary J. Chauvin; and a sister, Wendy C. LaBry.
