John Christopher Chatman

LAFAYETTE-A Celebration of Life Gathering for John C. Chatman,46, will be Sunday, February, 7,2021 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM with recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM, at David Funeral Home of Lafayette.

John, a native of Lafayette and a resident of Broussard passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He was a Property Manager with the family business Chatman Properties and with his charisma he worked very well with other people.

He is survived by his son Harrison Becnel of Covington, his father, Cecil Chatman Jr. of Broussard, and his sister, Claire Chatman Carluen and husband Elvin of Broussard.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Broussard Chatman, his paternal grandfather, Cecil Chatman Sr., maternal grandfather, Joseph Numa Broussard, and his maternal grandmother, Ledie Boudreaux Broussard.
